Atique Ahmed’s Brother-In-Law Dismissed By Government For Harbouring Guddu Muslim

Lucknow, April 25 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh government has dismissed from service, gangster Atiq Ahmed's brother-in-law Dr. Akhlaq, working in Meerut, who is accused of harbouring Guddu Muslim, a prime accused in the sensational Umesh Pal murder case in Prayagraj.

The chief medical officer (CMO) of Meerut, Akhilesh Mohan has sent his report to the state government, after which orders of his dismissal were issued by the headquarters.

The action followed direct instructions of Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, who also holds the charge of the health department. Dr. Akhlaq was taken into custody under the Explosive Substances Act and he is also accused of helping the absconding shooters.
