Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University Successfully Conducts Common Nursing Entrance Test 2024
Lucknow, June 14 (TNA) The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University has successfully conducted the Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET) 2024. The successful execution of the examination was supported by Prof. R B Singh and his dedicated team from the University of Lucknow, an official informed on Friday.
The test was conducted in 220 centres across 19 cities in Uttar Pradesh, ensuring accessibility for candidates from diverse backgrounds. Over 1,08,866 candidates registered for CNET 2024, reflecting a remarkable 100% increase from the previous year. This increase in registrations demonstrates the dedication and commitment of aspiring nurses towards pursuing a career in the healthcare field.
Impressively, the examination recorded less than 4% absentees with 96.34% of the registered candidates appearing for the same, highlighting the clear, organised and streamlined conduct of the examination process, from filling up the examination form to the overall communication among all stakeholders. Specifically, B.Sc. nursing reported 97.6% participation, Post Basic nursing reported 77.5% and M.Sc. nursing reported 91.6% participation.
The examination was conducted smoothly throughout the state, and no untoward incidents were reported anywhere. The successful execution of CNET 2024 marks a significant achievement for Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Uttar Pradesh, highlighting its commitment to educational excellence and its ongoing efforts to provide quality healthcare professionals to the community.
The exam was held under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Dr Sanjeev Misra, State Coordinator Dr Lokesh Agarwal, State Co-coordinator Dr Ashok Kumar Bishnoi, Registrar Sanjeev Kumar and Finance Officer Mrs Neelam Singh, a statement said.
