Anticipatory Bail Of Dancer Sapna Choudhary Cancelled By Court

Lucknow, December 22 (TNA) The anticipatory bail application of famous dancer Sapna Choudhary, wanted in a case of cancellation of dance program and non-refund of ticket money, has been rejected. The Special Court of Prevention of Corruption Act has said in its order that the charge sheet has been filed against the accused Sapna Choudhary.

This has been taken cognizance by the trial court. She did not appear before the trial court. An arrest warrant has been issued against him from the trial court. Therefore, there is no proper ground for anticipatory bail.

On July 27, 2019, a charge sheet was filed against Sapna Chaudhary in this case for breach of trust and cheating of a person. Whereas on January 20, 2019, a charge sheet was also filed against the organizers of this event, Junaid Ahmed, Iwad Ali, Amit Pandey and Ratnakar Upadhyay.

On September 4, 2021, the discharge application of Sapna Choudhary was rejected, but the order was issued to issue an arrest warrant due to Sapna's non-appearance. Then an application was made on behalf of Sapna to cancel the warrant. This application was also dismissed by the trial court. Now all the accused including Sapna have to be charged.
