An Accused In Umesh Pal Killing Shot Dead In Encounter With Prayagraj Police

Prayagraj, February 27 (TNA) An accused in the sensational murder of advocate Umesh Pal was shot dead by the police in an encounter on Monday. Identified as Arbaaz he was was shot and injured during the encounter that took place near Nehru Park in Dhoomanganj.

On the day of the incident, he was driving the car that was used for murder, ADG (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said while elaborating that he also was one of the miscreants who opened fire on the prime witness in the Raju Pal murder case and his police gunner.

Arbaaz died during treatment in the hospital. UP administration and police have initiated a massive campaign ato hound out the perpetrators of the crime which has sent shockwaves in the state and also the establishment.

An angry UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath had promised to the lawmakers in the Vidhan Sabha on Saturday that all those behind the killings will be run to the ground.
