Allahabad University Student Ends Life, Probe On To Ascertain Reason

Prayagraj, Sep 21 (TNA) A student of the Allahabad university hung himself to death in a hostel late Tuesday. The student committed suicide in his room at the Tarachand hostel, falling under the Colonelganj police station area. In the evening, when the news of the dead body hanging in the room spread, a crowd gathered there and then the police reached.

Police said that the name of the student is Ashutosh Tiwari. He was a resident of Maudaha area in Hamirpur district. He was a second year post-graduate student of Horticulture at Kulbhaskar Degree College. Ashutosh stayed with his friend in room number G 208 of Tarachand hostel. Police is investigating why he committed suicide.
