Allahabad High Court Bar Association Elections Today Under CCTV Watch

Prayagraj, January 30 (TNA) The election of the Allahabad High Court Bar Association executive body will be held today under heavy security between 9 am to 5 pm. The poll campaign of the candidates came to an end on Sunday. All the advocates will vote in proper dress and photo copy of the identity card of the Bar Association.

The entire voting process will be completed under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. Only those voters who are eligibl and in the voter list will be able to go to the polling place. Chief Electoral Officer Senior Advocate Anil Bhushan informed that the preparations for the polling have been completed.

Voting and counting will be done with complete transparency and that no one will get a chance to complain. Separate counters have been set up for voters including tents in the High Court premises.

Members of the Elders Committee, senior advocates TP Singh, VK Singh, VP Srivastava, VM Zaidi, Kripa Shankar Singh and others have expressed satisfaction over the preparations.
