Allahabad HC Seeks Records Of Company Manufacturing Dolo-650 From Trial Court In Alleged ESI Scam

Prayagraj, January 21 (TNA) The Allahabad High Court has summoned the records from the trial court in the case of non-provision of health insurance for the employees (ESI scam) by M/s Micro Lab Ltd., the manufacturer of the pharmaceutical company Dolo-650.

The court has fixed February 20 as the date for hearing the matter. Justice Rajbir Singh has given this order while hearing the petition of Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi. It was said on behalf of the petitioner that the pharmaceutical company did not get the employees insured and did not get it done for 30 years.

In this way, he has done a scam of about three hundred crore rupees to the employees. The company is accused of paying a bribe of Rs 1,000 crore to doctors for prescribing fever medicine Dolo to 650 patients and is under the scanner of the Income Tax Department.

Hearing the arguments of the petitioner, the court has summoned all the records related to the case from the District Court, Ghaziabad.
