Allahabad HC Rejects Layout Plan Of Chandrashekhar Azad Park, Seeks New One

Prayagraj, August 17 (TNA) The Allahabad High court (HC) on Wednesday turned down the layout plan of the Chandrashekhar Azad Park which was tailored by a private surveyor. The court also asked the state government to get a fresh plan made. The order came after the bench of Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice J. J. Munir found many a things wanting in the layout plan prepared by the private land surveyor.

The HC also asked the state government to explain on why a private surveyor was appointed, to which the state counsel could not offer an explanation. Advocate of petitioner Jitendra Singh Vishen, Prabhash Pandey told TNA that consequently, the Court ordered the state government to come up with a fresh plan for the area on the next date of hearing - September 1.
