Allahabad HC Asks Health Department To File An Affidavit On Rising Cases Of Malaria-Dengue, Next Hearing On Nov 17

Prayagraj, November 7 (TNA) Hearing in the rising cases of malaria and dengue in Prayagraj, of which the Allahabad High Court (HC) took suo motu cognizance was heard by the division bench of Chief Justice Pritinkar Diwakar and Justice Ajay Bhanot on Monday. The next hearing has been listed for November 17 and instructions have been issued to the state health department to submit an affidavit.

As soon as the hearing began on Monday, Additional Chief Standing Counsel, AK Goyal told the court that information regarding the outbreak of mosquito-borne diseases had come from the Additional Director of Health and Family Welfare. He wants to present this report in the court, but the court did not accept it. It said that the report of the Additional Director should be filed as an affidavit. The court gave time for this and postponed the hearing till November 17.
