All Uniformed Prison Personnel In UP Jails Allowed To Wear New Insignia

Lucknow, January 4 (TNA) In a significant move, all uniformed prison officials and personnel have now been allowed to wear an insignia. All the personnel personnel of the Uttar Pradesh Prisons Department are authorized to wear it above the name plate in the post on the required breast pocket.

On the auspicious occasion of Amrit Mahotsav 2023, being celebrated on the occasion of 75 glorious years of independence, for the achievements made by the Prisons Department, using the rights given in Para 905 of Menua 2022, all the office bearers of the Prisons Department have been honored for the achievements made in the past years.

Insignia of the Prisons Department is with a view to give excellence in management and other administrative works. 2496 prisoners of the whole country are detained in the jails of Uttar Pradesh. Undoubtedly, the prison personnel of Uttar Pradesh are discharging the most important and ethical responsibility in the entire country. The Prisons Department is making immense contribution in the reformative activities of the mandis by recovering it from the British era jails.
