Akhilesh Yadav Reaches Out To Raja Bhaiyya For Support In Rajya Sabha Polls

Pratapgarh, February 21 (TNA) Seeking support for his party candidates in the ensuing Rajya Sabha elections, the Samajwadi Party (SP) has reached out to its former alliance partner Raghuraj Pratap Singh aka Raja Bhaiyya. State party president Naresh Uttam reached Raja Bhaiya's house in Kunda on Tuesday with Akhilesh Yadav's message seeking his support.

SP President Akhilesh Yadav is also learnt to have dialled Raja Bhaiya where there was also discussion regarding an electoral understanding for the Lok Sabha polls 2024. After the sourness with Congress and the separation of Swami Prasad Maurya and Pallavi Patel, SP President Akhilesh Yadav has started looking for a new ally to make his third candidate win in the Rajya Sabha elections.

In this series, Akhilesh on Tuesday sent the party's state president Naresh Uttam Patel to Jansatta Dal Loktantrik President and Kunda MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh 'Raja Bhaiya'. During the talks, both the leaders also had lunch together.

During the discussion, Raja Bhaiyya mentioned his political journey with Netaji (Mulayam Singh). It was said that he has given most of his political life to SP. Netaji had also given him the same respect. However, Raja Bhaiyya did not give any concrete assurance on Uttam's proposal.
