AIMIM Supported Corporator Shot Dead In Broad Daylight In Meerut

Meerut, August 28 (TNA) In a shocking incident, a city corporator in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh was shot dead in broad daylight on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Zuber and he had been elected as a corporation with the support of AIMIM. He was shot dead by bike-borne assailants near his house.

He was shot many times according to preliminary information. The miscreants fled the crime scene after pumping bullets into Zuber, who also worked as a property dealer.

The incident took place in the Medical police station area of the city. Many police officers led by the SSP have reached the crime scene.
