LUCKNOW || After fresh guidelines from the Union Home Ministry in the Unlock 4 phase, which allows
plying of Metro trains, the Lucknow and Noida Metro rails will begin their operations from September 7, an official informed. It has been more than five months that these public transport systems have been out of operations due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Metro trains will be run in a phased manner and under strict guidelines, officials told The News Agency while informing that many conditions like mandatory thermal scanning of all passengers and use of masks will be done once a passengers enters the Metro stations.
Passengers with fever, cold, cough of flu like symptoms will not be allowed in the station or board the trains. Same conditions will apply with the staff of the UP Metro Rail Corporation as well. Aarogya Setu app will also be must for all passengers and only if it shows a green status that the passengers will be allowed to board the trains.
Keeping in mind social distancing norms, areas and points will be marked on the metro stations as well as on the platforms, officials further said.
