After A Long Wait, Transfer Gift To 16,000 Basic School Teachers In UP

Lucknow, June 27 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh government has gifted more than 16,000 teachers of the Basic Education Department working away from their homes to go near their homes as it has transferred 16,614 teachers from one district to another after a long exercise. After the release of its list on Monday evening, there is an atmosphere of happiness among the teachers and family members.

On June 3, the government had issued detailed guidelines for transfer of teachers posted in basic schools from one district to another. In this sequence, the online transfer process started from June 8. Although there was some technical problem in it, but it was rectified and the applications were completed. 45,914 teachers had applied for this. The final transfer list was issued on Monday evening after a strict scrutiny of their applications and documents attached.

According to this, 12,267 female and 4347 male teachers have been transferred. In this, 1141 incurable and serious patients, 1122 disabled and one parent 393 teachers are included. The department had earlier transferred teachers in 2019-20.

At that time 26,563 teachers got its benefit. Basic Education Council Secretary Pratap Singh Baghel said that action will be taken against the teachers who put wrong papers for transfer and their transfer will be considered cancelled. He has congratulated the departmental officers and employees for completing the transfer proceedings within 24 days.
