African Swine Flu Confirmed In 140 Pigs Found Dead In Lucknow’s Faizullaganj

Lucknow, July 20 (TNA) In worrying news coming from the state capital,African swine flu has been confirmed in dead pigs in Faizullaganj locality of Lucknow. The samples were sent to the National Institute of High Security Animal Lab, Bhopal.

So far, more than 140 pigs have died in the area. Due to this the people of the area are in a tizzy. Even many people had talked about leaving the area and shifting to another place after which the state government swung into action.

Due to the death of pigs in the area, the risk of epidemic among the large population has increased once again. Health teams are monitoring the situtation and all thats needful is being done, an official informed.
