Acid Attack On Three Dalit Girls In Gonda, Police Probe Underway

GONDA || Barely has the anger over the Hathras incident died down, the Uttar Pradesh government found itself in precarious position yet again on Tuesday after some miscreants threw acid on three sisters. The victims are all Dalits. The incident happened last night in Pakka Paraspur.

Acid has been thrown at three Dalit sisters in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh. The incident happened last night. The three sisters are minors and are being treated at the local district hospital. It is being said that all the three were asleep at their home when someone threw acid on them.

Two sisters are moderately injured, while one sister has acid on her face. However, the reason for throwing acid is unknown. Superintendent of Police (SP) of Gonda, Shailesh Kumar Pandey told media persons that the three girls have been attacked with some chemical and the whole matter is being investigated.

Meanwhile AAP leader Sanjay Singh, who has launched a scathing attack on the Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government on the crime front has called this incident yet another example of how women and girls were unsafe in Yogi-Raaj!

The Rajya Sabha member said girls are being raped, strangulated, killed, acid attacks are happening and much more while Yogi Adityanath, was looking the other way.
