A Couple, Their Three Children Perish In Fire In Kanpur Dehat

Kanpur, March 11 (TNA) A couple and three children were burnt alive in a hut fire in Kanpur Dehat. This incident happened in a big hutment of ‘Banjaras’ in Haramau village of Rura police station area. The family members were sleeping in the hut when the fire broke out but they could not get out in time.

The fire brigade, which reached the information, controlled the fire, but by then five members of the family and the entire household were turned into ashes. Station in-charge, CO and SP reached the spot late night and after investigation sent the dead bodies for postmortem.

SP Kanpur Dehat BBGTS Murthy told reporters that there is a large colony of Banjaras in Haramau village of Rura police station area.

Couple Satish (30) and Kajal (26) living in the hut along with three children Sunny (6), Sandeep (5), Gudiya (3) were burnt to death inside the hut due to fire late on Saturday night.
