8-year-old Girl 'Lost' On Lucknow Metro, Staff Reunites Her With Parents

Lucknow, July 24 (TNA) Lucknow Metro once again reunited a separated girl child with her parents fulfilling its responsibility of taking the passengers safely to their destination. The separated girl was successfully reunited with her guardians only due to the dedication, pro-activeness and commitment of Lucknow metro staff in providing best passenger service.

On Friday, a couple was travelling from CCS Airport metro station to Alambagh metro station with their 8 year old girl. The couple got off the train at Alambagh metro station but their daughter was incidentally left behind in the train. When the train reached the next station i.e. Alambagh Bus Stand metro station, the girl deboarded the train at platform no 1.

The security personnel deployed at the platform enquired the girl on seeing her lost and upset, obtained information from her and immediately handed her over to the station controller. The station controller in turn contacted the parents of the girl, called them to respective metro station and timely handed over the child to them

Kumar Keshav, MD, UPMRC said,” The entire staff of Lucknow Metro is committed towards providing best passenger service to the commuters to ensure safe and convenient travel. The staff has always come forward to help any passenger in distress and provided timely help to the needy on numerous occasions. The passengers can be rest assured that not only they are safe inside metro premises but also their belongings are being taken care of.”
