74 New Covid Cases In UP In The Last 24-Hours, Highest In Ghaziabad

Lucknow, March 29 (TNA) The number of Covid patients is continuously increasing in Uttar Pradesh. In the last 24 hours, 74 new patients of the deadly virus have been found. The total number of patients has thus increased to 304 in the state. Out of these, 10 patients have been admitted to various hospitals.

In view of the increasing number of patients in the state, the health department has stepped up vigil. In the state, 28,576 people were tested for corona in 24-hours, out of which 74 reports tested positive. In this, 20 patients have been found in Ghaziabad, 19 in Gautam Budh Nagar, four in Lakhimpur and eight in Lucknow. Less than four patients have been found in the rest of the districts.

Looking at the number of active cases, Gautam Budh Nagar has maximum 57 patients. Similarly, there are 55 patients in Ghaziabad, 44 in Lakhimpur, 27 in Lucknow and 12 in Bijnor. Eight new cases were found in Lucknow on Tuesday, which was the highest in a single day in March. All patients are in home isolation. At the same time, five people defeated the infection and turned healthy.

With this, the number of active cases in the district has increased to 27. The CMO said that two new cases each were found in Sarojini Nagar and Indira Nagar. One patient each was found in Aliganj, Chinhat, Malihabad and Gomtinagar. CMO Dr. Manoj Aggarwal said that to avoid the virus, leave the house only by wearing a mask.
