33 Districts In Uttar Pradesh Are Now Completely Free Of Coronavirus

Lucknow, Sep 16 (TNA) According to the updated status of Covid shared by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, as many as 34 districts of the state are now fully free of the menace of the Coronavirus.

These districts include Aligarh, Amroha, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Ballia, Balrampur, Banda, Basti, Bahraich, Bhadohi, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Etah, Farrukhabad, Fatehpur, Gonda, Hamirpur and Hardoi.

Other districts like Hathras, Kanpur Dehat, Kasganj, Mahoba, Moradabad, Pilibhit, Pratapgarh, Rampur, Saharanpur, Shamli, Shravasti, Siddharth Nagar, Sultanpur and Sonbhadra also do not have a single patient of Covid left.

At present 182 infected people are being treated. On an average, 2.5 lakh to 2.5 lakh tests are being done every day, while the positivity rate has come down to less than 0.01 and the recovery rate is 98.7 percent.

So far 07 crore 55 lakh 39 thousand 756 covid samples have been investigated in the state and in the last 24 hours in which 19 new patients were confirmed.

New patients were found only in 9 districts. So far, 16 lakh 86 thousand 538 residents of the state have become healthy after getting rid of corona infection.
