23,674 Persons Were Murdered In Akhilesh Yadav's Regime: UP Police Annual Crime Report

Lucknow, November 18 (TNA) Maximum blood of innocent people of Uttar Pradesh was spilled during the regime of Akhilesh Yadav, where in 23,674 people lost their lives, the annual crime report of the UP Police has revealed.

According to the data of the UP Police's annual crime report, situation under the BSP government was no better with regards to crime and murder. There has been a sharp decrease in crimes after the Yogi government came to power in UP. The number of murders in the state is at its lowest in four years of the Yogi government.

According to the data of the report, there has been a decrease of about 45% in terms of deaths compared to the SP and BSP governments.

The latest UP Police report explicitly details how crime was flourishing, innocents were being targeted and criminals were having a free run under the governments of SP and BSP. The annual crime report findings have added to the woes of the SP, which is already mired in corruption charges and scams.

The report shows the state of crime giving data on the number of deaths in the state in the last 14 years. The report covers crime data from 2007 to October 2020. According to the data recorded in the report, between 2007 and 2020, the highest number of 4930 deaths in any one year occurred in 2014 in UP.

There were 4796 killings in 2013 and 4695 in 2012. During this time there was Akhilesh Yadav government in the state. In the five years of Akhilesh government between 2012 and 2017, a total of 23674 people became targets of criminals. During SP government 4586 innocents were killed in 2015 and 4667 in 2016.

During the BSP government, in 2007, 4831,2008, 4029,2009, 4374,2010, 4156 and in 2011, 4578 people were killed. There were a total of 22,158 murders during the tenure of the Mayawati government. The average number of deaths in a day in Uttar Pradesh in the Akhilesh government was 1,351 in the year 2014.

After the formation of Yogi government, criminals in UP are on the run. In the four year tenure so far, the Yogi Government has cracked down on criminals and all those who patronise them. So far the number of murders in the present dispensation is 14,000.

In the four-year tenure of the Yogi government, which has taken the most rigorous and major action against criminals so far, the figure of deaths is less than 14 thousand. The highest number of deaths in any one year of Yogi Sarkar's tenure is 4324 in 2017. It also includes the SP government for a few months.
