22 NCC Cadets Headed For A Certificate Exam Injured In Mainpuri Road Mishap

Mainpuri, July 4 (TNA) Twenty-two persons, all NCC cadets, were injured in a road accident in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, police said, Condition of six of the injured is serious and they have been rushed to the Saifai Medical University for treatment.

The bus which was carrying these NCC Students - all from the KK Degree College Etawah, were headed to DNC degree college in Farrukhabad when, the bus driver lost control and armed into a truck which was just ahead. The mishap took place near Nagla Akhe, falling under the Kishni Police station.

The cadets were going to appear in a certificate exam when the accident took place. SDM Ram Sakal Maurya rushed to community health centre (CHC) to meet the injured cadets. Several parents also reached the medical facility to be by the side of the wards.

Officials also reached the scene of the mishap and oversaw the rescue and relief operations spearheaded by the police and locals.
