22 Covid Deaths In UP In Past 24-Hours

Lucknow, January 21 (TNA) Twenty two deaths have been reported across Uttar Pradesh due to Covid in the last 24-hours even as 16142 cases have been reported. According to a government spokesman, two deaths have been reported from Lucknow where 2290 new cases have also been reported. Two deaths have been also reported from Meerut and Chandauli, one each from Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Ghaziabad.

Lakhimpur Kheri has also reported two deaths, while Hapur, Amroha, Sultanpur, Etah, Deoria, Mainpuri, Kannauj and Maharajganj. Ballia has also reported two deaths, the official further said. Noida has logged 1465 new cases, Ghaziabad 778, Meerut 1020, Varanasi 673, Agra 408 and Prayagraj 529. Saharanpur has reported 439 new cases, Bareilly 426, Moradabad 346, Bulandshahr 406, Mathura 216 and Mainpuri 89.

The virus in the third wave has now covered all the 75 districts of UP, of which three districts have four digiut fresh cases, many three and mostly fresh cases in two digits.
