2008 Batch IPS Officer Alankrita Singh Suspended

Lucknow, April 27 (TNA) The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday suspended Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Alankrita Singh. An order to this effect was issued by additional chief secretary (Home) Avanish Kumar Awasthi. Singh is a 2008 batch IPS officer and has been found guilty of deriliction of duty.

According to the order Singh, who was posted as SP Mahila & Bal Suraksha Sangathan informed the ADG of the organisation on whatsapp call that she was in London and that she will be not able to attend the office on that day (October 20, 2021) and has been on leave thereafter.
