150 Sheep Found Dead In Prayagraj Village, Owners Allege Attack By Wild Dogs

Prayagraj, August 7 (TNA) Cattle owners in the Naini area of Prayagraj were sent into a tizzy on Saturday morning as they found more than 150 of their sheets lying dead in the cattle shed.

While the exact reason of this mass cattle deaths is not yet know, the owners of the sheep alleged that there were three wild stray dogs who were behind the deaths of the otherwise healthy cattle.

The incident took place in Devarakh village of Naini. One and a half hundred sheep were killed by stray dogs in Naini. The question however being widely debated in the village was that can three wild dogs kill one and a half hundred sheep and if not what is the cause of death of these sheep.

This is the subject of investigation which should be investigated by the animal husbandry department, a villager said. The second question debated is about the cremation of these sheets. While corpses of these sheep are likely to be buried people fear that they might be dumped in the Ganges quietly, which is a crime.
