More Than Nine Thousand Skilled Workers From UP To Go To Israel

Lucknow, March 8 (TNA) Skilled workers and labourers of UP are being provided employment opportunities in foreign countries also. A total of 9208 skilled workers including 5087 from Uttar Pradesh have been finally selected in the first phase and in the second phase, 4121 workers have been selected to be employed in Israel. In this way, a total of 9208 skilled workers will be employed in Israel at a salary of Rs 1 lakh 37 thousand per month.

State Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Kapil Dev Aggarwal said that under the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to provide work to every hand, an MoU has been signed between the Government of India and the Government of Israel, under which business Indian workers are being provided employment opportunities in Israel in the fields of Mason plastering work, Mason ceramic tiling, Mason building framework and Mason iron vending.

The second phase skill test of skilled workers was conducted by the Israeli team at Government ITI Aliganj, Lucknow from February 28, 2024, to March 07, 2024, in which 4121 skilled workers were selected. Thus, a total of 9208 skilled workers have been selected by the Israeli team.

A test of skilled workers was inspected from time to time by Special Secretary Labor and Director, Training and Employment Kunal Silku and he praised the Principal, Raj Kumar Yadav and his team. Skill testing was done by skilled workers by the Israeli testing team in collaboration with NSDC under the guidance of the Director.

Joint Director, Lucknow Division Anil Verma also inspected from time to time. The Israeli government team, NSDC team and PIBA team assured that if more skilled workers are required in future, then ITI Aliganj, Lucknow will be made the examination centre. Yadav thanked the Israeli team officials, NSDC team officials and PIBA team officials for their cooperation and thanked everyone for the cooperation of the Labor Department officials, institute officials and employees.
