'Animal Kingdom From Scrap Tyres' Inaugurated In Kanpur

A Unique Initiative by Kanpur Nagar Nigam, Kanpur Smart City & De’Dzines

Kanpur, May 2 (TNA) Kanpur Nagar Nigam on Monday threw open for the people of the city the “Animal Kingdom From Scrap Tyres” at Kargil Park Motijheel, Kanpur. This unique park has been decorated with life size sculptures of elephant, chimpanzee, lion, horse and many more and swings for children.

All these are made from discarded and old scrap tyres which are mostly burnt and cause high carbon emissions. This initiative has brought forward setting an example to save burning of tyres and reduce the carbon footprint.

The park was inaugurated in the presence of Divisional Commissioner Rajshekhar, Director of IIT Kanpur Prof Abhay Karandikar, Pramila Pandey (Mayor, Kanpur), Shivsharanappa GN, the Municipal Commissioner.

The event was also graced by many active morning walkers, children of Little Folks School, and renowned business owners of Kanpur. All the special guests highly appreciated the efforts of De’Dzines in creating such unique designs and have encouraged and promised to create more such parks in the vicinity of Kanpur.
