Nursing Colleges To Be Built In Eleven Medical Colleges Of Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, April 26 (TNA) Nursing colleges will be built in 11 medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh, an official said on Wednesday. This includes one in Ayodhya, where an academic block is to be built with ground floor and four storeys. B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc Nursing courses have been started in 25 government sector medical colleges in UP. Separate nursing colleges will now be started in 11 medical colleges of the state

For this, the Medical Education Department has sent a proposal to the government. This building will have four storeys including the ground floor. BSC Nursing course has started from session 2022-23 in Banda, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Badaun, Azamgarh, Bahraich, Basti, Firozabad, Jalaun, Saharanpur, Shahjahanpur.

Till now MBBS is being taught in the academic block in these colleges. Now MD and MS courses are also being started in these colleges. In such a situation, a separate building for the nursing college will be constructed here. For this, land has been marked from the principals of all the colleges. All have reported having sufficient space for building.

After this, the proposal to make academic block in these 11 colleges has been sent to the government. After the academic block is constructed, separate hostels will also be constructed in the colleges which do not have nursing hostels.
