Yogi Adityanath Reviews Functioning Of Education Departments

Lucknow, October 14 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday reviewed the progress in the education department and directed officials to ensure that district school inspector (DIOs) should be posted on merit. He also called for immediate posting where the post is vacant.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called a special meeting of the Basic, Secondary, Higher and Vocational Education Department late on Friday evening in which he stressed on taking all necessary steps to make the schools of basic, secondary, higher and vocational education well equipped with resources.

The Chief Minister also reviewed the updated status of under-construction schools, colleges, ITIs and polytechnics and gave instructions to balance the teacher-student ratio in schools as per the standards.
