UP Board Releases New Academic Calendar, Many Changes Made

Lucknow, May 11 (TNA) The examination of class IX to be held in the year 2023 will be conducted according to a new pattern. From now on there will be 2 sections in the ninth and tenth examinations, inside the first section, students will be given 30 MCQ questions and all these MCQ questions will be of 1 mark each. Apart from this, there will be a total of 70 marks in the second section.

The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has asked schools to conduct 5 monthly examinations from this time to properly assess the students from class 9th to 12th. These five monthly examinations will be based on multiple choice type questions, which will be conducted by the commission in July, August, November and February. Apart from this, the Board has also said in its academic calendar to conduct the half yearly exam at the end of September, if not in the beginning of October.

Apart from this, the Board will focus on increasing the practical knowledge among the students within Uttar Pradesh and will implement many schemes like hands on activity or learn by doing. What is educational and educational trip will be organized in all schools of Uttar Pradesh. It has also directed all the schools to create email IDs of the students so that theycan send any kind of information directly to the students.
