Two Students Of La Martiniere Girl's College Test Covid Positive

Lucknow, April 24 (TNA) Two students of the prestigious La Martiniere Girl's College tested positive for Covid on Sunday, sending officials of both the healthcare and education sectors into a tailspin. The two students had been showing signs of fever and cold for the past few days and on being tested, were found to have Covid, an official said. The school has been closed for the next two days.

In this regard, the process of sanitization is being done in the school and along with this, testing will also be done by doing contact tracing as per the prescribed protocol, the official said. The new assessment Schedule will be sent tomorrow and the ISC and ICSE board exams shall be held as per schedule.

The District Magistrate has appealed to the general public to follow social distancing and must use of masks before going out in public places, school markets etc.
