Summer Vacation In UP Government Schools Extended By Six Days, To Now Open On July 3

Lucknow, June 26 (TNA) Summer vacation in UP government schools has been extended by six more days. An order has been issued in this regard. Summer vacation in Basic Education Council schools in UP has been extended till July 2 and now all schools will open from July 3, an official informed.

Earlier the summer vacation period was till June 26. Now it has been extended for six more days owing to the extreme heat wave and sultry weather. The council has given instructions to improve adequate cleanliness and toilet arrangements before the opening of schools.

Parents are now keenly watching whether private schools will also follow suit or the state government will ask them to also extend the holidays, considering the weather.
