Experts At WICCI Webinar Deliberate of Skillsets For 21st Century Model Of Education

LUCKNOW || Experts at a highly engaging webinar organised by WICCI Elementary Education as part of the webinar series focusing on the “Disruptive education - the new 21st century model" on Saturday discussed various facts of learning for children.

WICCI Elementary Education India, vertical of Women’s India Chamber Of Commerce and Industry, founded by Dr Harbeen Arora and under the Presidentship of Jasmin Kumar has an array of experts and the webinar was moderated by Neerja Singh, Feature Journalist, Teacher Professional and Speaker.

Educationist Shagun Singhal Garg highlighted the facts and figures of International and National Education System in terms of the children who are enrolled for the Early Child Education.

In her views the 21st skill set would be Problem thinker, Problem Solver, Creativity in terms of both digital and non digital, Analytical thinking, Collaboration in both online and offline platforms, Communication and Action & Accountability. She beautifully concluded with each parent should do wise investment in early child education to harvest the fruit of required skills set of 21st century.

Relationship and Clarity Coach Vibha Gurtu pointed out her recommendations on 21st-century skill set is to build it a more physical and cognitive development. It should be inclusive of Artistic development, Communication, Language, Flexibility to learn, Adaptive. She made an appropriate point that fundamental skills are important but it has to go in sync as whole process including all sections of societies needs to get sensitise to make it worth.

Sapna Jha, Founder and Managing Director, HapGen Educational Services underlined that the learning should be intact between 4 stakeholders they are Family, School, Teachers and Peer group. She also clearly pointed that teachers has to evolve them and turn to be a facilitator, Coach, Mentor to make the kids evolve with 21st century New Education Policy.

She explained the importance of the flexible environment for a child to learn in play way and collaboration of Parents and Teachers are must to uphold new Policy in role.

Neha Sharma, Founder Accelerate India highlighted that Inclusion in the New Education Policy is important, education for all irrespective of Income, geographical boundaries and Gender biased. We should understand the policy and its requirements first to deliver the expected results.

One beautiful point she mentioned was that Competition should come on its own in the child, that should not be forcefully done to the child in pressure. Also we should never judge the kids, as every child has their own excellence and we should understand that to let them grown and nurture.
