Woman From Greater Noida Found Murdered In Nainital Hotel
Nainital, August 17 (TNA) A woman from greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh, who arrived at a hotel at Mallital in Nainital on Monday morning was found dead in a Nainital hotel. The body was semi-naked and her companion who checked in with her is missing.
Police have since registered a case of murder against the youth. According to Rishabh aka Imran, Shweta Sharma and Almas-ul-Haq had reached Ramnagar in Uttarakhand on August 13 and stayed at a resort. On August 14 they came to Nainital. They had booked two rooms in a hotel in Mallital. The four of them partied till late night of August 15.
After the party, the woman and Rishabh stayed in one room while Shweta Sharma and Almas-ul-Haq stayed in another room. When Shweta reached the woman's room at 11 am on Monday, she found her lying dead. Shweta informed Almas about the case. After this, the two reached Mallital Kotwali and informed the police about the incident.
Kotwali in-charge Ashok Kumar Singh reached the hotel with the police and sealed the hotel room after taking possession of the woman's body. SSP Preeti Priyadarshini and SP Crime also reached the hotel and investigated.
Forensic team reached Nainital from Haldwani on Monday afternoon. Hem Chandra, Dinesh Giri and Mamta, who were part of the team, scrutinized at different places in the hotel room and collected fingerprint samples.
Having a good friendship in two months, he had come to hang out with them. Police have also found out that the woman was married and has divorced her husband. He also has an 11-year-old daughter, whom the woman left with her brother and went to Nainital.
SP Crime Devendra Peencha said that the dead woman was bleeding from her mouth and nose and her body had turned blue. The police are waiting for the arrival of the relatives of the deceased. The exact cause of death will be known after receiving the postmortem report. A case has been registered against Rishabh alias Imran in different sections.
In the case of the murder of a woman in a hotel in Nainital, the police questioned Shweta and Almas ul Haq, two other people who came with her, and it was found out that the young man who came with the woman had given his name as Rishabh. Later, Shweta contacted the brother of the deceased on the phone and found out that the real name of the one whom they both understand as Rishabh is Imran.
Shweta told police that he had known the woman and Rishabh alias Imran for two months. Imran lived with the woman and her daughter in another flat in the same building in Greater Noida.
