Veteran Actor Vikram Gokhale Critical, Family Trashes Death Rumours, Urges Fans To Pray

Pune, Nov 24 (TNA) Veteran Bollywood actor Vikram Gokhale continues to be critical. Amid rumours of his death, his wife and family has requested people not to spread false news. They however confirmed that the 82-year-old actor is very critical.

His condition suddenly turned critical a fortnight back and he was admitted to the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune. According to reports, Vikram Gokhale is unable to respond to treatment and was put on ventilator considering his critical condition. The life support system however has been removed now and his family is praying for a turn around of his health.

Vikram’s wife Vrushali Gokhle is quoted by a media outlet as saying that the actor is alive. "He slipped into coma yesterday afternoon and post that, he has not responded to touch. He is on a ventilator. Doctors will decide tomorrow morning what to do, depending on whether he's improving, sinking, or still not responding," Vrushali said.
