Uttarakhand Police Arrests Wanted Criminal From Chandausi In UP

Dehradun, August 13 (TNA) In a cross-border strike against crime and criminals, Uttarakhand Police has arrested a wanted criminal from Uttar Pradesh. According to information, the Special Task Force (STF) of the hill state arrested a wanted criminal Ghazni aka Saif Ali, who was wanted in many robberies and dacoities in Kankhal and Kaliyar a few years back.

An official informed that the dacoit carried a cash reward of Rs 10,000 on his head for the crimes committed in 2018. He was arrested after a concrete tip-off of his hiding in Chandausi, Uttar Pradesh.

The Uttarakhand Police has stepped up its drive against criminals and has been striking at them, many say, with a fresh and proactive approach.
