Under-Construction 5-Storey Building Collapses in Delhi's Burari, 2 Dead, 12 Injured

New Delhi, January 28 (TNA) A five-storey under-construction building near Kaushik Enclave, Burari, Delhi, collapsed suddenly on Monday. The incident claimed the lives of an 8-year-old girl and another person, while 12 others sustained injuries. Rescue teams suspect that eight more people might still be trapped under the debris.

The building had been under construction for the past year and was in its finishing stages. Laborers working on the site were living in rented rooms in a vacant area nearby. When the building collapsed, the debris fell directly onto their rooms, worsening the tragedy.
