TCS Nashik Scandal Deepens: Key Accused Nida Khan on the Run, Seeks Bail Citing Pregnancy
Mumbai/Nashik, April 17 (TNA) The controversy surrounding alleged forced religious conversion and sexual harassment at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has intensified, with one of the prime accused, Nida Khan, currently absconding and seeking anticipatory bail.
According to family sources, Khan, 25, is presently in Mumbai and is expecting her first child. Her legal team has approached a local court in Nashik, citing her medical condition as a significant factor in her anticipatory bail plea. Authorities have stated that these claims will be verified through official medical channels as efforts to locate her continue.
Khan, who joined the BPO unit of TCS in Nashik in 2021, has been named in multiple complaints linked to the case. The allegations involve forced religious conversion and sexual harassment of women employees at the company’s Nashik office.
Police officials confirmed that nine complaints have been registered so far. A total of seven individuals, including six men and one woman serving as HR Head, have already been arrested in connection with the case. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to probe the matter in detail. The complaints, filed by eight women employees, allege sustained mental and sexual harassment by senior colleagues, along with inaction and negligence by the human resources department.
The alleged incidents span over four years, from February 2022 to March 2026. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities are intensifying efforts to apprehend the remaining accused.
