Mumbai, May 9 (TNA) The BCCI has officially suspended the remainder of the TATA IPL 2025 for one week, citing national interest and after consultations with franchisees, broadcasters, sponsors, and other stakeholders.

The decision follows the recent terrorist attack and military escalation involving Pakistan, with the BCCI expressing full solidarity with the Government of India and the Armed Forces engaged in Operation Sindoor.

The Board reaffirmed that while cricket is a national passion, the country's sovereignty and security take precedence. Further details regarding the revised schedule will be announced in due course.
