SC Stays Allahabad HC Order Of CBI Probe In Fake Admission Scam In Ayush Colleges Of UP, Issues Notice To Govt

New Delhi, June 26 (TNA) In big relief to the Uttar Pradesh government in the fake admissions in Ayush colleges case, the Supreme Court on Monday stayed the order of the Allahabad High Court (HC) to get a CBI probe conducted into the whole thing.

Hearing on the petition challenging the CBI investigation, the apex court, for the time being stayed the Allahabad HC order for a probe by the premiere investigative agency. The Supreme Court however issued a notice to the state government seeking to know why was it trying to avoid a CBI probe into the matter.

This is a serious matter, a big scam, SC obeserved while hearing the petition moved by the UP government challenging the Allahabad HC order. The accused Ritu Garg was granted bail by the Allahabad High Court.
