Bengaluru, February 26 (TNA) At the Galaxy Unpacked February 2026 event in California, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra for India and global markets. During the showcase, Google announced a suite of new Gemini-powered artificial intelligence features that will roll out to select Galaxy S26 devices and its upcoming Pixel 10 series.

The company confirmed that the new Galaxy S26 lineup will run on Gemini 3 models, enabling advanced task automation directly from the Gemini app. Users will soon be able to assign multi-step, routine activities—such as booking rides, reordering food, checking emails, or sending messages—by simply long-pressing the side button. The feature will initially launch in preview mode in the United States and South Korea, with a broader release planned later.

Google emphasised that the automation tool operates within a secure virtual environment. Gemini will only access apps specifically permitted by users, ensuring tighter privacy controls. Real-time progress updates will be displayed through notifications, allowing users to monitor each action as it unfolds.

In addition to automation, Google is enhancing its AI-powered Circle to Search functionality. The upgraded tool will introduce multi-object image recognition, enabling users to circle multiple items on their screen and receive detailed information about each one. For instance, users can highlight different elements of an outfit—such as shoes, trousers, or accessories—to instantly learn more about them.

The same Gemini-powered automation capabilities will also be available on the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro devices, expanding Google’s AI ecosystem beyond Samsung’s flagship smartphones. With these advancements, both companies aim to make smartphones more intuitive, proactive, and productivity-focused than ever before.
