Restoring Smiles: Delhi Police Reunites Missing Child With Family

New Delhi, August 6 (TNA) The Delhi Police brought smiles on the faces of a family from Nangloi as a kid who had gone missing on August 3, was traced and handed over to the family.

"On August 3 at 11:24 pm a PCR call was received in PS Nihal Vihar that 7 years old son of caller is missing from home," an official informed.

The call was entrusted to Head Constable Pardeep Kumar. On enquiry it was revealed that the seven-year-old, s/o Lalu Paswan, resident of Kumar Dairy, Tau Chowk, Nangloi went missing from home around 09:30 pm.

Keeping in view the sensitivity of the matter the cop made immediate efforts. ERV, Highway Patrol and other night patrolling staff was pressed into action.

The police team consisting of head constable Pardeep and constable Jigri Meena traced the boy after an intensive & painstaking search of 2 hours from near Biscuit Factory, Nihal Vihar safely.

The boy was handed over to parents as no foul play was found in his missing. He had lost his way back home and was not able to find any help in getting back to his residence.
