Redmi Note 15 Pro Series 5G Launches in India with 200MP Cameras, AMOLED Display

Bengaluru, January 29 (TNA) Xiaomi has expanded its smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the Redmi Note 15 Pro Series 5G on Thursday. The new lineup includes two models — Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G - joining the existing Redmi Note 15 in the series. Both smartphones bring flagship-grade features, including 200-megapixel rear cameras and high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro Series 5G features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (1,280 x 2,772 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Both devices run Android 15-based HyperOS 2 out of the box.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, on the other hand, is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

For selfies, the Pro model offers a 20-megapixel front camera, while the Pro+ variant gets a 32-megapixel shooter. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G packs a 6,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G houses a slightly larger 6,580mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging support.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. Both models feature stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support, along with top-tier IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

In India, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is priced from Rs. 37,999, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G starts at Rs. 29,999. With bank discounts of up to Rs. 3,000, effective prices drop to Rs. 34,999 and Rs. 26,999, respectively.
