PM Modi Praises Former Army Officer For Her Care For Destitute Animals

New Delhi, July 18 (TNA) Retired army officer Major Pramila Singh on Sunday was praised by prime minister Narendra Modi for supporting destitute animals. In a letter to her, the Prime Minister said that her initiative was a source of inspiration for the society.

Singh has been arranging for food and treatment of the animals from her savings. Modi further wrote that this unprecedented crisis is difficult for animals also and everyone should be sensitive towards their needs and pain.

During the Corona induced lockdown Major Pramila Singh, who hails from Kota in Rajasthan, and her father Shyamveer Singh, took care of the helpless and destitute animals.
