New Delhi, February 9 (TNA) The All-India Muslim Personal Law Board has referred to Islamic scriptures to say that there is no restriction on Muslim women to enter mosques and offer prayers either singly or collectively. The board said that it is forbidden for women and men to offer Namaz together in the same room.

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board has also filed its affidavit before the Supreme Court in a second petition, seeking a direction to allow Muslim women to enter mosques to offer prayers. Giving information about this, the board issued a statement on Wednesday and said that this affidavit is broadly in line with the first affidavit filed by the board in a similar petition before the Supreme Court.
