Mumbai Police Trash Video Showing TV Actress Uorfi Javed Being Arrested By Cops

Mumbai, November 4 (TNA) The Mumbai Police has trashed claims by TV actress and social media influencer Uorfi Javed that she has been arrested by cops. Taking note of a viral video in which she is seen being escorted by two women constables and a male cop, in a case of obscenity and skimpy dressing, the Mumbai police said “is not true” and that “its insignia & uniform has been misused”.

Following this, a criminal case has been registered against those involved in the misleading video, at Oshiwara Police station under sections 171, 419, 500, 34 IPC. While further investigation is on, the fake inspector is under arrest and the vehicle has been seized too, Mumbai Police said.
