Motorola Unveils Moto G87 with 200MP Camera, Rugged Build, and Premium Display
Bengaluru, April 30 (TNA) Motorola has introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Moto G87, bringing a strong focus on camera performance, durability, and display quality. The device stands out with its 200-megapixel primary camera, designed to deliver high-resolution photography with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and advanced Ultra Pixel technology.
The Moto G87 features a large 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering vibrant visuals with 10-bit colour support, 100 per cent DCI-P3 gamut, and up to 5000 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and carries SGS certifications for low blue light and reduced motion blur.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, the smartphone comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs on Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI, integrating features like Moto Secure, Smart Connect, and Google tools such as Gemini and Circle to Search.
In addition to the 200MP main sensor, the phone includes an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 32MP front camera. It supports up to 2K video recording and is equipped with Dolby Atmos-backed stereo speakers for immersive audio.
The device houses a 5200mAh battery with 30W TurboPower charging. It also boasts IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, along with MIL-STD-810H certification for enhanced durability.
Priced at GBP 349.99 (approx. Rs. 45,000), the Moto G87 will soon be available across multiple global markets.
