Inter-State Bus Operations Between Madhya Pradesh-Maharashtra Stopped Till March 31

Bhopal, March 18 (TNA) With a frightening spike in cases of Corona in both Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, all inter-state buses between the two states have been cancelled for 11 days, an official said on Thursday.

Officials said that the bus services between the two states have been grounded for 11 days between March 20 and March 31. Any call for opening the same will only be taken after a due assessment of the situation in the first week of April, the official further said.

Many districts are under night curfew in Madhya Pradesh and the Shivraj Singh Chauhan government is taking strict measures to ensure that the second wave does not harm the people of the state. Maharashtra on Thursday reported the highest number of single-day fresh cases of COVID-19 this year.
