Indian Idol Winner Pawandeep Rajan Appointed Uttarakhand's Brand Ambassador For Art, Tourism And Culture

Dehradun, August 25 (TNA) The Uttarakhand Government on Wednesday announced that winner of the Indian Idol season 12,

Pawandeep Rajan is being appointed as the brand ambassador for art, tourism and culture for the hill state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made this announcement after the 25-year-old singer called on him.

Pawandeep also had won The Voice Of India season 1 and hails from Champawat district of Uttarakhand. Dhami said that the young singer had brought laurels to the state by rising for ordinary background to becoming an idol int he field of singing.

The decision to appoint him as the brand ambassador of art, culture and tourism of the state was a way to show the states deep respect and appreciation for his achievement, a senior official informed. The Indian Idol winner also sang a local song for the chief minister and his officers.
