IAF Plane Crashes On Combat Training Mission, Pilot Killed

New Delhi, March 17 (TNA) A pilot of the Indian Air Force (IAF) was killed as the plane he was flying crashed in central India on Wednesday, the IAF said in a statement.

The location of the crash has not been disclosed however. The accident took place when the aircraft was taking off for a combat training mission.

A Gupta, the pilot flying the Mig-21 Bison aircraft died in the plane crash. A court of inquiry has been ordered to determine the cause of the accident
